Before you call us, you can look into the attic and measure the depth of the insulation.  If your home were built today, the current code would require no less than 13 inches of blown fiberglass.   If your home was built before the 90's, there's a good chance that your attic insulation is only 4 inches deep.   That was fine when a gallon of heating oil cost less than 25 cents; but today, it costs 8 to 10 times that.
