Save money. Add insulation.
When you add an extra layer of insulation, you may save up to 30% on your energy bills. That’s a significant savings. Not to mention that your home will be more comfortable, warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer.
Many homes, particularly those more than 10 years old, have significant heating and cooling loss through the attic. If you own such a home, you could be spending much more than you need to on heating and cooling – especially with the recent sharp rises in energy prices. Adding insulation to your home may be the answer.
Studies have shown that as much as 30 to 40% of your home’s energy loss is through the ceilings. Adding attic insulation is the upgrade that pays for itself.
Before you call us, you can look into the attic and measure the depth of the insulation. If your home were built today, the current code would require no less than 13 inches of blown fiberglass. If your home was built before the 90's, there's a good chance that your attic insulation is only 4 inches deep. That was fine when a gallon of heating oil cost less than 25 cents; but today, it costs 8 to 10 times that.
It’s a simple and fast process. Most houses can be completed in a few hours.
